PAXAMANIA II
April 24, 2016 - Boston, Massachusetts - Boston Convention & Exhibition Center - Main Theatre

After months of build-up and speculation, the Road to PAXAMANIA II ended on a brisk, Spring morning in Boston. It was an event that transpired in an entirely unexpected manner, which has become a tradition of LOH Wrestling in recent years. The event began with Pat Baer introducing the first of many replacements in the show. Former American, Eric Pope took the stage to belt out a rousing rendition of “America the Beautiful” before taking his place at the announce table with Aaron Trites. They were quickly interrupted by LOH Commissioner Greg Miller who solidified his stance on rejecting the challenge laid out by Dirty Dan Ryckert from earlier in the week. Despite being attacked by Dan during a panel at the Rooster Teeth booth on Friday, which led to Dan being ejected from PAX, Greg still refused to take the match.

Aaron then confirmed the rumors that the #1 contender for the LOH Championship, Amarisse Sullivan was in fact not in Boston, which meant that now two of the potential matches on the PAXAMANIA II card were in jeopardy. In an attempt to resolve the title match issue, the reigning LOH Champion Um Jammer Sammy led the Indie Love Coalition onto the stage. Still missing her belt, Samantha said Amarisse stayed home to avoid getting destroyed by a friend. The champ went on to say that Alexa Ray Corriea had disappeared after a party the night before, but that is was okay because Alexa wasn’t very good at wrestling games anyway. A comment that left fellow ILC member Sean Baptiste visibly perturbed. Samantha then introduced her new best friend and the newest ILC member, The Boxing EMT Danielle Riendeau, who would also be taking Amarisse place as challenger for the title. The smell of collusion was in the air, but ILC manager Rich Gallup was quick to smooth things over with a bunch talk about analytics and profit sharing.

Dirty Dan Ryckert then stole a mic from The Baer Caev and stormed the stage to address Greg Miller’s rejection of his challenge. With Miller standing in the front row, back turned to the stage, Ryckert claimed to have been tricking his fans for years by playing the lovable dumb guy and that Greg would fall into the same trap when he eventually accepts this challenge. Ryckert explained that Miller’s ego is too big to turn down the main event at PAXAMANIA. Miller continued to ignore both Ryckert and his challenge.

Patrick Klepek then joined the announce desk for the Jeff Green Memorial Tag Team Tournament, which was appropriate since Jeff is Patrick’s game dad. D-Leazy, Esq. then took the stage with his legal representative, Ramón. D-Leazy revealed that he successfully located Dr. Tracksuit (pronounced Track-swee) in the months following the Rumble. According to D-Leazy, Tracksuit had been building a family practice in Fresno, CA. Did the hugs at the Rumble truly cure him? Who can say? Who can say?

Before bringing Tracksuit out, D-Leazy announced that he had amended the PAX Code of Conduct to make it illegal to reference anything from the past while around Dr. Tracksuit. Mentioning a certain faction of superstars that “never existed” would get you ejected from PAX and a civil suit would be served to your door within days. Dr. Conrad Tracksuit then introduced himself to the “Penny Expo” and had a message warning attendees about the hazards of conjunctivitis before taking a seat for the tournament.

Their opponents, former champion Alex “The Wolf” Navarro and newcomer Cohen “Hand-Drawn Pack of Crows” Edenfield took the stage. Alex was incensed that he was forced into this tournament rather than receiving his contractually obligated title rematch and refused to speak. Cohen continued to ramble about his love of rasslin’, violence, and the circumcision of pigs. The Wolf eventually had heard enough and brutally murdered Cohen with an N64 controller. He then confronted Commissioner Miller about his rematch. Miller, afraid the tournament was on the verge of being ruined, compromised by offering The Wolf a triple threat match for the title at the 2016 Rumble against whoever the champion is at that time and the winner of the Rumble itself. Despite being screwed over by the commish in the past, The Wolf reluctantly accepted this offer. The ghost of Cohen Edenfield then rose from behind the ring and chased The Wolf out of the arena. Tracksuit and D-Leazy were declared winners by forfeit.

”Johnny Cashanova” John Drake and “The Gentleman” Anthony Carboni then hit the ring and continued to express their intentions of not only taking over LOH Wrestling but even PAX itself. Carboni’s family owns every convention center in North America and he is tired of kids ruining his buildings every few months. Meanwhile, Drake is tired of League of Heels being mismanaged by Commissioner Miller and is staging a hostile takeover of the company. In an attempt to accelerate this process, they paid their opponents, Ophidian & Argus of CHIKARA Pro Wrestling, $10,000 to simply forgo the match. The Master of Snake Style and the Gecko Roman Wrestler took the deal and exited the ring.

While setting up for the Tournament Finals, a video message was sent in from Xavier Woods who was in England defending his WWE World Tag Team Championship. Woods claimed that although he could not be there himself, that Miller would crush Dan and send him packing. Woods said that he would let Dan rebuild himself, and, when the time was right, Woods would crush him again in the Mario Kart Double Dash Grudge Match that has been rumored for nearly a year now. After the video, Miller continued to deny that he would accept Dan’s challenge.

Due to technical difficulties with the Nintendo 64, the tournament finals could not be started on time. This angered Johnny Cashanova to no end, for these types of issues are exactly the reason he seeks to take over the managerial duties from Greg Miller. He then called on Patrick Klepek to find a Cash Cannon gun under the announce table. As it was fired, Tracksuit and D-Leazy dove for the cash, thus accepting defeat by bribery. Drake & Carboni were declared the winners of the inaugural Jeff Green Memorial Tag Team Tournament.

Forty minutes had passed with no actual wrestling.

Suddenly, static hit the jumbotron in the arena. Moments later, it became clear that Sony’s Shuhei Yoshida had Skyped into the arena with a message for his protégé, Commissioner Miller. Shocked by the arrival, Miller revealed that he had sworn on the life of his PlayStation Vita that he would never fight again in LOH Wrestling. Shuhei went on to say that with the recent release of such great titles as Severed, Axiom Verge, and Risk of Rain, he was releasing Greg of his promise. “Go…Kick…Dan’s…Ass!” he exclaimed as the staticky Skype call ended.

A trailer was shown for an upcoming video game from Steve “Fobwashed” Kim called “Rumble Road,” which will feature many LOH Wrestling superstars as they criss-cross the United States on the way to PAXAMANIA.

Austin Walker joined the boys on commentary for the world title match, which was to be held in Pro Wrestling for the Nintendo Entertainment System. Walker, a former tag teammate of Kalman on the independent scene, was interested in how this hastily made championship match came about. At the 1:07 mark in the match, D-Leazy returned to the ring to announce that he had signed a new client…Alexa Ray! He claims that Alexa was wrongfully terminated from the Indie Love Coalition. D-Leazy informed the champ that the 9th District Court of Boston agrees with him and until this matter is settled, Samantha Kalman is suspended from competing in the ring. Before being removed from the ring, she called on her former tag partner, Austin Walker, to leave the booth and replace her in the match.

Sean Baptiste was interviewed in The Baer Caev and seemed entirely confused and largely frustrated with the recent turn of events. After a heated battle, Austin Walker scored the pinfall following a vicious backflip dropkick. Walker believed he had just won the LOH Championship, but Samantha Kalman was declared still champion by Commissioner Miller. After proclaiming that she single-handedly fought her way to the top, Danielle knocked her out with a straight right hand to the jaw. Sean Baptiste stormed out of the arena declaring he was done with the ILC. Rich Gallup helped the wounded champ to the back, but it would appear that the Indie Love Coalition is no more.

Before the main event, Commissioner Miller announced he had hired some back-up to ensure no shenanigans from Dirty Dan Ryckert. About a dozen monsters from Kaiju Big Battel filled the ring. When Ryckert entered the ring, clad in his full-body American flag suit, he was immediately jumped by the Kaiju. Battered and bruised, Ryckert was clearly not ready for the match to begin as Miller went up 1-0 within seconds. The second fall was almost as quick. Shockingly, Miller had banished Ryckert from LOH in a minute flat. But, when Miller tore off Ryckert’s all-American hood, it was revealed that it was not Ryckert at all! It was Patrick Klepek?!

In a state of utter confusion, Miller watched as Klepek scrambled away. That’s when Dr. Cube, one of the Kaiju in the ring, removed his helmet to reveal he was actually Ryckert all along. Ryckert delivered a vicious forearm to the back of Miller’s head and then stomped a mudhole in him. He even took the time to break Miller’s trademark sunglasses. The Kaiju began attacking the already decimated commissioner, then it appeared that Drake & Carboni were going to seize the opportunity to take control, but everyone was halted when Ophidian cast a hypnosis spell on everyone in the arena causing everyone to dance uncontrollably.

PAXAMANIA went off the air with the Commissioner unconscious and everyone dancing around his lifeless body. As a PAXAMANIA.com exclusive, we are happy to report that several minutes later, Dr. Tracksuit was seen giving the Commissioner some medical attention. But, we are still left with many questions in the aftermath of PAXAMANIA II.

  • Does Austin Walker have a rightful claim to the LOH Championship?
  • Should the triple threat promised to The Wolf at the RUMBLE become a Fatal Four Way?
  • Miller won the Loser Leaves Town match, but it wasn’t actually Dan, so does the stipulation apply to…anyone?
  • Why was Patrick Klepek helping Dan Ryckert anyway?
  • Will Drake & Carboni instigate their hostile takeover in Seattle?
  • What’s left of the Indie Love Coalition?
  • WHERE IS THE GODDAMN BELT?!!
