PAXAMANIA
March 8, 2015 - Boston, Massachusetts - Boston Convention & Exhibition Center - Albatross Theatre

Filmed and edited by Eric Kanius and Cheslea Smith.

After two battle royals, it was time for LOH Wrestling to mix things up a bit. It was time to inject some new blood into the LOH universe and settle some long-running feuds. Thus, PAXAMANIA, the pinnacle of eSports entertainment, was born. The showcase of the immortals. The day when superstars become legends, and where it all begins again.

The first-ever PAXAMANIA opened with a beautiful rendition of “America the Beautiful” performed by Harmonix’s Chris Rando. After an introduction from Aaron Trites, Eric Pope, and the new Spanish announcer, Elisa Melendez, LOH fans were treated to a delightful rant from the new commissioner, Greg Miller who promised Dan Ryckert would destroy the LOH champion, Alex Navarro.

The first match of the show was the 8-Person Gang Beasts Invitational. The match was signed to give eight brand new superstars a chance at winning a spot in the 2015 Rumble at PAX Prime. The big surprise for LOH fans here was when the eighth competitor was revealed to be none other than Hidetaka “SWERY” Suehiro. The match was won at the three minute mark when Alex “Bonez” Rubens eliminated “The Dogwalker” Mary Kish to secure a spot in the Rumble, which is set to be in his own hometown of Seattle.

After the opener, the LOH champion, Alex Navarro, joined the announce team to discuss how the deck had been stacked against him in the upcoming No DQ title defense against Dan Ryckert and his hired goons, Run GFB. Alex claimed he always rises to the occasion when under pressure. “The People’s Champ,” Samantha Kalman, came out of the entrance way and apologized for what happened at the PAX Prime Rumble. She offered the support of the Indie Love Coalition to Navarro, but he declined stating he had to do this alone.

The second match of PAXAMANIA was a Saturday Night Slam Masters Best of 3 Falls match between Run GFB and the newly forged Indie Love Coalition. In the first round, D-Leazy was easily able to defeat Alexa Ray Corriea. In the second round, The Underdraker attempted to recruit Shawn Allen to Run GFB, but Shawn rejected his offer, choked the Underdraker out, and pinned him to tie the score. In the third and final round, Samantha Kalman was able to defeat Dr. Tracksuit via pinfall to secure the victory for the Indie Love Coalition.

In the main event, Dan Ryckert, with a freshly shaved head, chose Steven Austin to battle Alex Navarro’s Triple H for the LOH Championship. The No DQ match went to the outside rather quickly as Dan, as Austin, heinously assaulted Stephanie McMahon. Alex grabbed a bat and began taking home run swings at the challenger. By the four minute mark, Ryckert was in danger when Alex delivered a delayed piledriver and set up for the Pedigree. At 4:06, Ryckert paused the match and Run GFB swarmed the stage. While attempting to restore order, senior official Pat Baer took a super kick from Ryckert. He then applied a sleeper hold on Navarro and demanded that Run GFB attack the champ while he was out cold. But, the members of Run GFB refused. Ryckert, now infuriated, did not realize Navarro had gotten back up. When Ryckert turned around, he was met with a cloud of red mist from the champ followed by three shots of glass to the head from Run GFB. Then, in the most shocking moment of PAXAMANIA, Alex Navarro revealed he was the newest member of Run GFB and had been in cohoots with them all along! While D-Leazy, Dr. Tracksuit, and the Underdraker carried Ryckert away and slammed him through the Spanish announce table, Navarro made the pin in the match to complete his second title defense.

Post-match, Commissioner Miller was incensed. He demanded an explanation from Run GFB, but what he got was a guitar shot to the head from Dr. Tracksuit. Now, headed to the PAX Rumble at PAX Prime 2015, Run GFB has all the power. Who can possibly stop them in this 30-person battle royal?
